ELCOM has signed a contract with Elektroprivreda for delivery of Distributed Control System (DCS) to HPP Grabovica and automation of two Units with total installed capacity of 117 MW (2 x 58.5 MW).
An integral part of the contract is:
- Design of hardware and software for control of two units (2 x 58.5 MW).
- Production, delivery and installation of DCS cabinets.
- Testing and commissioning of the plant.
Hydro Power Plant Grabovica is located in the canyon of river Neretva, 13 km downstream of city Jablanica and 35 km upstream from the city of Mostar. Grabovica on average produces 345 GWh per year. The plant is dam-type with a concrete gravity dam 60 m high.
