Factory Acceptance Test of Boiler Protection System for the Unit 6
Preparations for the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) of Boiler Protection System for the Unit 6 are in progress.
BPS FAT of Unit 6 is planned in the end of February 2014, and will be organized at Alstom FAT site which is located in Les Ulis, France.
The 6 x 800 MW Medupi supercritical coal fired power plant is, with its total planned installed power of 4.8 GW, the biggest dry cooled fossil powerplant in the world.
ELCOM is a HW and SW support for ALSTOM on Medupi Project.
Part of ELCOM engineering team is located in Les Ulis, France where they are working on preparations of the BPS FAT for the Unit 6.
